NumberPond was born out of a simple frustration: finding the right calculator online shouldn't be this hard.
Whether you're trying to figure out your monthly mortgage payment, calculate how many calories you need, convert units for a construction project, or estimate your take-home pay — the internet scatters these tools across dozens of different websites. Each one has its own interface, its own ads, and its own learning curve. You end up spending more time searching for the tool than actually using it.
We've been there. As software developers and engineers, we constantly found ourselves bouncing between different sites just to run basic calculations. One site for mortgage math, another for unit conversions, another for BMI — and half the time, the calculator didn't explain what the inputs actually meant or how to use them properly.
